About us

Rhuddlan Community Centre is at the heart of the community providing space and a central hub for everyone, the building consist of four rooms varying in size from small rooms suitable for meeting and small classes to a large hall suitable for exercise, party’s, and gatherings, and we also have a well equipped kitchen.

The community centre used to consist of two buildings, a tin shed that was used for a youth club and over group activities, and the War Memorial club that was built in 1921 for ex-service men and women to meet up and relax. Both buildings fell into disrepair and plans were drawn to demolish the two buildings and replace them a community centre.

The War Memorial Club had two memorial stones affixed to the outside inscribed with the names of the fallen from both world war one and two that were intended to be kept and affixed to the new community centre, but during the demolition of the war memorial club the two stones fractured and were replaced with polished black granite stones and designed to replicate the memorial from the original building.
